I know - three posts in a week is unusual for me. Don't get used to it. I was supposed to be at work today but the census was low and I was flexed off. Good because I get to stay home and do stuff I want to do. Bad because no work = no dollars. Maybe I can convince the guys to catch a movie tonight. Wish me luck.

So, we're here in Kittanning and at least Steven seems to be having a good time. We actually ate at a local pizza joint last night that I had a ten here jonesing for and then we walked around the "city" for exercise and so Steven could look at all the houses. I had forgotten that there are a lot of old houses here that really have a lot of charm to them. It was neat to take a walk around with him because I got to view it from somebody else's eyes and not see it as the prison that I had once occupied for 18 years. I have, however managed to catch a cold on the trip up here and am awake writing this at 4am because my throat is screaming in pain. Sorry you didn't get to work on Friday.
I tried the idea of a kitty or another baby with Steven and he wasn't going for that one either. Damn. What does it take to make this man crack?!
